Gardening

I am going to start gardening to make my mom's house nicer. Its really hot where she lives, so it makes it hard. Here are some pictures that make me happy though.

Petit Collage

I found out about petit collage through decor8 the artist Lorena Siminovich just got picked up by anthropologie which is amazing. I love the look of her collages they are very cute and make me happy :)

Giant Robot

I have been a fan of Giant Robot for awhile, they have some cute Asian things that make me happy. It's a magazine but they also have 4 stores: 2 in La, 1 in San Fransisco, 1 in New York.

Creative Thursday

Spinkles

Today I went to Hollywood with my husband. First we stopped by Tim & Eric's office because he painted their office awhile ago, everyone was really nice. He might get a graphic design job there which would be awesome.
After that we went to an art show at the new image art gallery to see Evan Hecox's work. He has done art for Chocolate Skateboards.

Then we went to Sprinkles which I have heard so much about. While the appearance and design is great I have to admit I was pretty disappointed. We had to wait in line for 20 min. The customer service was pretty bad, but hey it's LA so its not that surprising.

Book by it's Cover

You should really check out Book by it's cover. It's a book blog from an illustrator in Brooklyn.
I think this book looks adorable. It's called The Book of Imaginary Books its in Japanese and french.

Sissors paper glue

I can't even explain how happy this makes my heart. I wish I had an extra $20.

Mushroom Coffee Table

Eric Chase Anderson

I am so happy about this. I never knew that my favorite director Wes Anderson has a talented brother who is an artist. He did the art for the cover of the life aquatic and he also has his own book that I want really bad its called Chuck Dugan is AWOL
